Serbian State Secretary of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Fevzija Muric is leading a Serbian delegation of civil servants, MPs and media representatives on a two-week official visit to China.
The ministry says in a statement that during the visit, which will last from August 22 until September 4, State Secretary Muric and the delegation will meet with officials from the Chinese ministries of foreign affairs and economy and representatives of regional and local government.
The visit aims at strengthening bilateral cooperation between Serbia and China and improving their political and economic relations. Serbian delegation will also get acquainted with models of economic and industrial development of China.
During their stay there, the delegation will take part in a number of seminars and will also visit Shenzhen, a specialised economic zone and one of the most modern cities in China situated near Hong Kong, adds the statement.
