Loncar supports efforts for preservation of Serbian language, Cyrillic script in Croatia

Serbian Minister of Education Zoran Loncar talked today with a delegation of the Joint Council of Serbian Municipalities from Vukovar on problems in the education of Serbs in Croatia.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Education, Loncar supported, on the occasion, efforts to preserve the Serbian language and Cyrillic script and expressed readiness for joint cooperation to find a solution to problems confronting Serbs in Croatia.
Minister Loncar acquainted the delegation, led by its president Dragan Crnogorac, with the position of the Croatian ethnic minority and the rights they enjoy in the area of education in Serbia.
