Employers obliged to take safety and health protection measures

The Ministry of Labour and Social Policy said it did not ban but recommended to employers to stop work between 11 am and 4 pm in the open during the heat wave these days.
With extremely high daily temperatures, employer is obliged to strictly adhere to provisions of the Law on labour and the Law on safety and health at work.
The government approved the Ministry’s recommendation in its session yesterday.
