EBRD to continue with financial engagement in Serbia

Serbian Minister of Finance Mirko Cvetkovic spoke today with President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Jean Lemierre.
The two officials expressed satisfaction with the successful cooperation so far and expressed the need for EBRD’s further engagement in Serbia, especially in the fields of energy, railway, roads and local infrastructure, according to a statement from the Ministry of Finance.
It was agreed in the meeting to continue negotiations on EBRD's financing of Gazela bridge in the amount of €25 million resume as soon as possible, the statement adds.
