It is necessary to secure institutional guarantees for Kosovo-Metohija Serbs, the Prime Minister said, adding that the resolution of problems in the province is important not only for the state union, but also for the entire region.
Buckovski urged the two countries to bolster economic relations, noting that the Macedonian government will seek to further develop ties with Serbia-Montenegro.
According to him, Serbia-Montenegro and Macedonia are particularly interested in improving stability in the region and strengthening joint efforts to combat organised crime.
The resolution of Kosovo-Metohija problems calls for considering solutions proposed in the Serbian government’s plan, Buckovski went on to say, stressing that disintegration of the Western Balkans is unacceptable at the peak of European integrations.
