Nine human traffickers arrested

The Serbian Ministry of Interior said that members of the special police forces and the police in Novi Pazar yesterday carried out an inspection of owners of night clubs, workers and guests in several clubs in Novi Pazar.

The police arrested six persons from Novi Pazar, and one from Smederevo, Vrsac and Sombor each on suspicion of committing the crime of human trafficking.
In the Jet Set night club, owned by Hasib S. three women were found, of whom one was identified as a victim of human trafficking and was placed in a shelter for trafficked women.
The persons arrested were brought before the investigating judge of the Sombor District Court.
