Serbian Minister of Youth and Sports Snezana Samardzic-Markovic congratulated the Serbian female basketball team on winning the gold medal at the European Junior Basketball Championship in Novi Sad.
“I most heartily congratulate you on your success and the title of European champions. Thank you for the joy you gave us and made the whole Serbia proud.
You proved to be the best and most organised team in Europe. Convincingly, in eight matches, you achieved the greatest success of the Serbian female basketball,” reads the Minister’s letter.
