Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic has appointed Zoran Cvijanovic and Srdja Popovic as advisors for sustainable development.
Zoran Cvijanovic was born on January 25 in 1958 in Belgrade. He graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade in 1982. In the same year he became a member of the Yugoslav Drama Theatre, later joining Atelje 212 theatre in 1987. Since 2002 he has been a self-supporting artist. He has acted in several films and television dramas, and has produced 5 films. He is married and father to two children.
Srdja Popovic was born in Belgrade on February 1 in 1973. He graduated from the Faculty of Biology in Belgrade. He was a member of the Vracar Municipal Assembly and the Belgrade City Assembly from 1997 to 2003 and member of the Serbian Committee for Environmental Protection, as well in several expert groups for drafting legislative projects. From 2002 to 2003 he worked as advisor for environmental protection to prime minister Zoran Djindjic. He is author and co-author of books, articles and scientific works. He is guest lecturer in four faculties in the UK and the US.
