UNDP donation to help remove mines in Paracin

Serbian Minister of Defence and representative of the UN Development Programme (UNDP) Rastislav Vrbenski signed today a memorandum on understanding between the Serbian government and UNDP in a move to carry out the project of destroying mines and explosives on the site of explosion in the Paracin military storage.
UNDP donated EOD Frontline software and equipment. The total value of the project is $114,945 and the donation is realised through the South Eastern and Eastern Europe Clearinghouse for the Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons (SEESAC).
Part of the funds was donated by SEESAC whereas £50,000 was provided by the UK, according to a statement.
