The Ministry of Health said in a statement that following the meeting Stantic visited the renovated parts of the hospital, namely the emergency ward, diagnostic centre and gynecology and psychiatry wards.
Reconstruction of the Subotica hospital is part of the project of emergency reconstruction of 20 hospitals in Serbia and is financed from the loan of the European Investment Bank and funds from the National Investment Plan.
The Ministry recalls that over €3 million has so far been invested in the Subotica hospital and adds that the renovation and reconstruction of the emergency and reanimation wards were financed through the National Investment Plan.
The works that are now underway include work on the diagnostics centre and reconstruction of gynecology department.
After visiting the premises, Stanic held a press conference in which participants were also Provincial Assistant Secretary for Health and Social Policy Boris Kopilovic and Director of the Subotica Health Centre Nebojsa Rakic.
