Surgery ward reconstructed in Zajecar health centre

Serbian Minister of Health Tomica Milosavljevic and European Agency for Reconstruction (EAR) Head of Operations in Serbia Christos Gofas opened today the reconstructed surgery ward in the health centre in Zajecar.
The surgery ward was renovated through funds from the European Investment Bank (EIB) within the project “Urgent Reconstruction of 20 Hospitals in Serbia”.
Infrastructure reconstruction of the health centre in Zajecar took up €3 million and the centre got new medical equipment worth €930,000.
The €50 million project of urgent reconstruction of hospitals started in 2003 and will be underway until September this year, the Ministry said in a statement.
