Serbia and Montenegro reach agreement on defence cooperation

Assistant ministers of defence of Serbia and Montenegro Dusan Spasojevic and Ljubisa Petrovic reached an agreement today on signing an agreement on cooperation in the field of defence.
Spasojevic proposed that the Serbian side submits the draft agreement in early autumn.
He also offered assistance to Montenegro in building institutional capacities in the field of defence and in the preparation of strategic documents.
Perovic voiced satisfaction with communication between the two ministries so far and added that bilateral cooperation is very important for regional stability, among other things.
