It also adopted the Bill on amendments to the Law on tax procedure and tax administration, as well as the Bill on amendments to the Law on property tax.
The government adopted the Bill on amendments to the Law on Value Added Tax, the Law on excise tax and the Law on customs tariff.
It also passed the Bill on amendments to the Law on government, Law on public administration and Law on civil servants.
At today’s session the government passed the Decree on the 2007 programme for the protection and improvement of forests and the Decree on determining the criteria, conditions and purposes of funds intended for tourism development for the period January-June 2007.
It also decided to set up the Committee for Restructuring and Privatisation of Public Companies.
It passed the decision on the number of state-funded first year students to be enrolled in state faculties in the 2007/2008 academic year. According to its decision, 2,745 students will have their tuition fees covered by the state.
It also decided to open general hospitals in Jagodina and Cuprija.
The government gave consent today to the 2007 financial plan of the Serbian Privatisation Agency and also approved of the initiatives for starting the privatisation process of state-owned companies Radio Televizija Krusevac, Radio Televizija Trstenik, Radio Lazarevac, Radio Raska, Radio Backa and Radio Pomoravlje.
