Serbian Minister of Trade and Services Predrag Bubalo talked today with a delegation of the Ikea Group and discussed the company’s plans to enter the Serbian market and open a large sales centre in Belgrade and afterwards other major Serbian towns.
The Ministry of Trade and Services says in a statement that the collocutors agreed at the meeting that there are realistic conditions for the realisation of such a sizeable investment in Serbia and that the arrival of Ikea would confirm Serbia’s status of an investment target, as well as help other multinational companies decide to come here.
Also present at the meeting was Swedish Ambassador to Serbia Krister Bringeus. The Ikea Group delegation was led by its President Hans-Goran Stennert.
