Serbian Minister of Environmental Protection Sasa Dragin and associates travelled on a one-day visit to Brussels today, where the delegation will participate in the ministerial meeting on environmental protection.
Joint interests of all countries whose goal is EU membership will be established in the meeting as well as topics and tasks that can most efficiently solve environmental problems.
The European Parliament’s Environment Committee will present a development plan of environmental policy and define the concept of the European Commission for the future environmental cooperation in the Balkans and Turkey.
European Commissioner for the Environment Stavros Dimas and ministers from countries EU candidates and potential candidates will participate at the conference, according to a statement.
