World Bank project loans granted to Serbia of great importance

Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic and World Bank Executive Director for Serbia Michel Mordasini agreed today on the launch of negotiations on the World Bank’s New Country Partnership programme.
The two officials pointed to the importance of the programme and project loans of World Bank approved to Serbia in the period from 2002 to 2007.
Mordasini expressed belief that the programme, which will be carried out during the next four years, will intensify cooperation between Serbia and the World Bank.
