Serbian Minister of Education Zoran Loncar said today in talks with representatives of trade unions from the field of education that the Ministry's main commitment is to continue to prepare and implement educational reforms and to adopt a strategy of education.
During the meeting with President of the Serbian Education Trade Union Branislav Pavlovic, President of the Independence Trade Union Zdravko Kovac and President of the Association of Trade Union of Education Workers Leonardo Erdelji, Loncar said that educational reforms include modernisation of curricula and improvement of the status and working conditions of the employees.
The Minister and trade unions representatives agreed that it is necessary to adopt the remaining educational laws as soon as possible and according to the results of previous practices, to examine the need for changing and amending some of the existing laws.
