Ministry of Defence clearly supports completion of cooperation with Hague tribunal

Serbian Minister of Defence Dragan Sutanovac stressed today in a meeting with Hague Tribunal’s Chief Prosecutor Carla Del Ponte that the Ministry and the Serbian Army are showing clear resolve to efficiently participate in the completion of cooperation with the Hague tribunal.
Sutanovac stressed that the Ministry, the Army and he himself will fulfill their legal obligations and noted that the problem of Hague indictees is first of all the problem of civilian security services.
Sutanovac and Del Ponte agreed that full cooperation between Serbia and the tribunal is necessary.
Del Ponte stressed that Serbia’s cooperation with The Hague is necessary to be completed as soon as possible, which means that the remaining indictees, first of all Ratko Mladic, need to be found, arrested and transferred to the Hague tribunal, according to a statement from the Ministry.
Sutanovac and Del Ponte agreed that full cooperation between Serbia and the tribunal is necessary.
