Serbian Minister of Youth and Sports Snezana Markovic-Samardzic congratulated Serbian tennis players, Jelena Jankovic and Ana Ivanovic, on reaching the women's semifinals at the French Open.
“I most sincerely congratulate you on the success which made all of your supporters happy, from the very beginning. With your good play and persistency, you proved that athletes are best promoters of our country in the world.
The two ladies made the whole nation proud and showed how top results are achieved courageously. I will personally try to ensure with my team that the successes of our athletes are not only their own successes, but the results of long-lasting and systematic work of the whole state,” reads a greeting from the Minister of Youth and Sports.
