Draft strategy for cooperation between Sweden, Serbia-Montenegro presented

Serbian Minister of International Economic Relations Predrag Bubalo met with a Swedish delegation on Friday, July 2, following a presentation of a Draft strategy for developmental cooperation between Sweden and Serbia-Montenegro.
Director General of the Department for Central and Eastern Europe of the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs Hans Magnusson informed Bubalo on main objectives of Sweden’s strategy for developmental cooperation and voiced support to European integration and reform aimed at reaching the standards necessary to join the European Union.
Bubalo said that the Draft of the Swedish strategy is in line with the Serbian government’s priorities, adding that a prospective EU accession calls for fight against corruption and crime, respect for laws, and struggle to ensure conditions for foreign investment, so as to reduce poverty and create jobs.
