The Council members will be the Serbian President and Prime Minister, ministers of defence, interior and justice, Head of the General Staff, Director of the Security and Intelligence Agency (BIA) and heads of the military security and intelligence services at the Minsitry of Defence.
The government passed the Decree on the Office for the National Investment Plan and appointed Minister without Portfolio Dragan Djilas as Head of the Office.
It also decided to establish the Council for the National Investment Plan comprising the ministers of finance, economy and regional development, energy and mining, infrastructure and environmental protection.
The government decided to set up the National Council for Cooperation with the International Tribunal for prosecuting persons accused of having seriously breached the international humanitarian law in the territory of the former Yugoslavia from 1991, and also adopted the Decree on establishing the Council’s Office.
It adopted the decree on amendments to the Decree on terms and manner of attracting foreign direct investment.
The government passed the Decree on allocating subsidies to agricultural and food producers for the period January-June 2007.
The Decree on providing incentive funds for growing vine, hop and fruits for the period January-June 2007 was adopted.
The Programme for amendments to the Programme on distribution of funds for subsidies for non-financial public companies and organisations in the area of mining for the period January-June 2007 was adopted.
The government gave consent to the decision by the Energy Agency according to which the implementation of the tariff system for calculating electricity supply to tariff customers has been postponed from June 1 to September 1, 2007.
State secretaries at ministries were appointed at the session.
Igor Jovicic and Aleksandar Miscevic were appointed as state secretaries in the Ministry of Defence.
Slobodan Ilic was appointed State Secretary in the Ministry of Finance, and State Secretary in the Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Society is Milenko Cvetinovic.
Nevena Vitosevic-Djeklic and Milan Brdar were appointed state secretaries in the Ministry of Religion.
Mirko Stefanovic was appointed as Secretary General in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
