Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Jeremic will travel to Bosnia-Herzegovina on Monday, May 28, to meet with officials in Sarajevo and Banja Luka.
This is the Minister’s first visit abroad since he came to office on May 16. The main themes of the meetings with Bosnia-Herzegovinan officials will be promotion of relations between Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina and current issues in the region.
Jeremic will meet with Bosnia-Herzegovinan Minister of Foreign Affairs Sven Alkalaj in Sarajevo and with Republika Srpska President Milorad Cavic in Banja Luka, where they will open the general consulate of the Republic of Serbia.
The choice for the first visit of Serbian Foreign Minister to Bosnia-Herzegovina is evidence of the government’s foreign policy goals that include building good neighbourly relations and regional cooperation.
