Serbian Minister of International Economic Relations Predrag Bubalo and US Ambassador to Serbia-Montenegro Michael C. Polt visited today the US Steel Serbia in Smederevo.
Ambassador Polt and Minister Bubalo talked with US Steel Serbia General Manager Thomas Kelly, his associates and employees about the results of production rehabilitation, after which they visited the hot rolling mill in this company.
At a joint press conference, they presented the production achievements since the company was privatised, as well as expectations and development plans of the US Steel Serbia in terms of production and exports by the end of 2004.
