Government approves draft law on denationalisation and building land

The Serbian government approved at its session today the Draft law on denationalisation and building land, prepared by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of International Economic Relations.
The government approved the decision of the managing board of the public company Electric Power Industry of Serbia on the increase of electricity prices by 15%.
The government made changes to the Decree on obligatory production of certain products and provision of services and conditions for interim use of resources of a company. The changes extend the deadline for measures that are taken on the basis of the Decree, whose aim is the protection of social property in the companies in which the process of privatisation has not been completed. The deadline for measures that can be taken is November 30, 2007 and the measures taken on the basis of the Decree stop on December 31 this year.
The government pronounced three high schools for schools of particular national importance, namely the Belgrade mathematics high school, Belgrade second grammar school and Sremski Karlovci grammar school.
The government also agreed to change the Decree on criteria for forming prices of medicines and approved the Statute of the Kragujevac Public Health Institute.
Also, the Rule book on conditions for medical treatment of persons with medical insurance was approved.
The government gave consent to initiatives for starting privatisation of TV Gornji Milanovac and Radio Brus.
