Kostunica voices concern over European position on Kosovo

Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica had a telephone conversation today with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and voiced great concern over the current European position on the future status of Kosovo-Metohija.

Kostunica said that the position of the European Union is completely contrary to the UN Charter and that Serbia cannot accept that 15% of its territory be snatched away.
The Serbian Prime Minister strongly advocated finding a compromise solution for the future status of Kosovo-Metohija.
