Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica received today students of the Belgrade Faculty of Law who won third place at an international competition from international commercial and arbitration law held in Vienna.
Kostunica congratulated the students for coming third in a competition of 178 faculties from more than 50 countries and underlined that young academics represented Serbia and their faculty in an exceptional way.
The Serbian Prime Minister said during the meeting with the students that the state's obligation is to pay special attention to the best and most talented students and reward them for excellent results they achieve and help them in their education.
The students said that they represented their country worthily and showed that in Serbia the tradition of good study of international law is cherished. They said that the state's support to the best students is of great importance.
The meeting was also attended by ministers of education and sport, and justice - Slobodan Vuksanovic and Zoran Stojkovic, rector of the Belgrade University Branko Kovacevic and Dean of the Belgrade Faculty of Law Mirko Vasiljevic.
