Kostunica meets with Karakasevic, Table Tennis Association of Serbia

Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica met today with the gold medal winner in the mixed doubles category at the European Table Tennis Championship recently held in Belgrade, Aleksandar Karakasevic and a delegation of the Table Tennis Association of Serbia.
Kostunica congratulated Karakasevic on the gold medal and voiced belief that he will continue to reap success at upcoming competitions.
A delegation of the Table Tennis Association of Serbia said that Belgrade was an exceptional host to the European Table Tennis Championship held at the Belgrade “Arena”, and added that both participants and European table tennis officials paid compliments on the organisation of the tournament.
They particularly emphasised the satisfactory cooperation with the Serbian government and the Ministry of Education and Sport on the preparation of the tournament.
The delegation included President of the Table Tennis Association of Serbia and Vice-President of the European Table Tennis Union Aleksandar Matkovic, Secretary General Dragoslav Apostolovic and President of the Executive Board of the Organisational Committee of the 2007 European Championship Momcilo Pesic.
