President of the Coordinating body for the municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja Rasim Ljajic underlined today during the talks with Political Director of the Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs Kai Eide that only a compromise political solution for the future status of Kosovo-Metohija, which will take the interests of Belgrade and Pristina into account, can secure the stability of the entire region.

The Norwegian diplomat showed interest in the situation in southern Serbia, and Ljajic said that in that region political and every other form of stability will be preserved, owing to the state's proactive politics based on the process of integration of the ethnic Albanian community and further economic strengthening of the municipalities in southern Serbia, reads a statement by the Coordinating body for the municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja.
