Dinkic to negotiate repayment of Russia's debt to Serbia

Belgrade, 28 June 2004

Serbian Minister of Finance Mladjan Dinkic will arrive on a two-day visit to Moscow to negotiate repayment of Russia's debt to Serbia with his Russian counterpart Aleksey Kudrin.

Dinkic will arrive to Russia together with Montenegrin Minister of Finance Igor Luksic. The three ministers will discuss possibilities of achieving an agreement on regulating Russia's clearing debt to Serbia-Montenegro.

The talks will also focus on regulating the debt of Serbia's Oil Industry NIS to Russian Gazprom for gas delivered between 1994 to 2000.

Apart from the finance ministers of Serbia and Montenegro, the Serbian delegation will include representatives of the National Bank of Serbia, the Ministry of Energy and Mining and the Oil Industry of Serbia NIS.
