It also charged the two ministries to launch the procedure for appointing financial advisors in the sale of telecommunication firms.
The government also decided to invite Sistem Braca Karic – BK Trade from Moscow, that is, BK Trade from Moscow, and postal company PTT Srbija to register the company’s ownership structure in line with the commission’s findings.
If Sistem Braca Karic – BK Trade from Moscow, that is, BK Trade from Moscow, does not accept the invitation, the government said it will decide whether to settle the matter by arbitration or outside the court.
The government also decided to establish a commission comprising members of the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Capital Investment, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Finance, and the general manager of PTT Srbija, to start negotiations with Sistem Braca Karic – BK Trade from Moscow, that is, BK Trade from Moscow.
As part of today’s session, the government adopted a railway bill and a bill on changes and amendments to the publications law and forwarded them for parliament approval.
It also decided to set up several special-purpose commissions and bureaus, including a council for public administration reform, bureaus for improving education and assessing the quality of education, as well as a commission for restructuring public companies.
The government also changed electricity tariff system and electricity prices.
It approved the starting points for debt-settlement talks with Russia, adopted a memorandum on cooperation with the government of Israel in the fight against drugs smuggling and terrorism, and called on the Serbia-Montenegrin Council of Ministers and the Kazakh government to sign an agreement on trade and economic cooperation.
The government further approved a protocol on cooperation between the Serbian Ministry of Social Affairs and the Republika Srpska Ministry of Labour and War Veterans and Disability Protection.
As part of the session, Deputy Minister of International Economic Relations Ljubisa Jovanovic was appointed as the chairman of the commission for encouraging foreign investment.
