The Serbian Ministry of Interior stated today that a Ministry delegation, led by police director Milorad Veljovic, is on a three-day visit to Moscow at the invitation of the Russian Ministry of Interior.
The statement adds that representatives of the two ministries have exchanged experiences in combating crime and reached agreement on improving cooperation, primarily in the field of fighting organised crime, drug smuggling and terrorism.
Cooperation of the ministries’ special units has also been planned, as well as education, training and special drills of Serbian police officers for emergency situations, reads the statement and adds that on March 29, the talks will focus on sharing experiences regarding activities on maintaining public peace and order.
