The government determined the number of new students to be enrolled at the Police Academy in the academic year 2007/2008. This number will be 120 students whose education will be financed from the state budget.
It also decided to open a municipal hospital in Leskovac.
At today’s session the government declared a number of facilities as monuments of culture, such as the buildings of the Belgrade Aero Club, Belgrade Coin Mint, Postal Services Ministry in Belgrade, Yugoslav Archives, Seismological Office and the Air Force Headquarters, as well as the Jevremovac botanical garden, the Vojvodina Museum and Archives in Novi sad, the Banovina complex in Novi Sad, the building belonging to the Gajic pharmacy in Pancevo and the Pancevo Historical Archives.
It also adopted the action plan for the implementation of the CEFTA agreement, namely the portion referring to the production and traffic of tobacco and tobacco products.
It consented to the programme for maintenance, protection, construction and reconstruction of main and regional roads in Serbia for the year 2007.
Finally, the government gave consent to the 2007 agenda of the Serbian Pension and Disability Fund Insurance Office and adopted the 2006 report on programme realisation of social welfare funds.
