Admission of short-term agriculture loans as of March 26

The Serbian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management stated today that admission of short-term agriculture loans will start on March 26.
The Ministry has signed agreements with eight business banks which will be involved in short-term crediting registered farms in Serbia.
The banks include Komercijalna Banka, Vojvodjanska Banka, Kulska Banka, Hypo Alpe-Adria Bank, Panonska Banka, Eurobank EFG, Meba-CA Group and Continental Banka NLB Group.
The quota for the loans is RSD 2 billion and the loans will be used to finance agricultural production. The loans will amount from RSD 12,000 to RSD 240,000 depending on the size of farms. The repayment period for these loans is 12 months, with a 5% interest rate and 1% annual commission.
