The statement adds that the fair opened on March 18 and will close today and that alcoholic beverages were jointly exhibited at the Serbian national stand by companies Rubin, Navip, Beograd, RB Global, Vinarija Kovacevic, Podrum Aleksandrovic, Vinogradi i Podrum Jelic, Bermet, Distilerija Ekselentia and Ulikses.
The fair is a compact and very efficient exhibition focused on specific target groups. It is also an opportunity for exhibitors from central and southeastern Europe to present their product assortment to the international professional public and make new business contacts.
On the second day of the fair, the “Danube and Adria Night” will be held at which Romania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Montenegro, Croatia and Serbia will present their wines, brandies, food, music and ethno dances.
The ProWein fair, this year visited by over 30,000 people, is one of the most significant international fairs for manufacturers of wine and alcoholic beverages. This year, over 3,000 companies from 40 countries were presented at the fair.
The participation of Serbia and Serbian companies took place under the auspices of Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management and was organised by the Serbian Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA) with technical support of the German Organisation for Technical Cooperation (GTZ) and the Support Programme to Economic Development and Employment in Serbia (WBF).
