Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica met today with Director of the Simon Wiesenthal Centre from Jerusalem Efraim Zuroff, who showed interest in cases of war criminals who committed crimes during the Second World War in the territory of the then Yugoslavia.

Zuroff was especially interested in the officer of the Hungarian occupying army Sandor Kepir who carried out executions during a raid in Novi Sad and members of the Ustasha movement Milivoje Asner and Ivo Rojnica who committed crimes in the territory of the fascist independent state of Croatia.
Kostunica pointed out that war crimes cannot be time-barred and that all war criminals should be tried.
He said that the Republic of Serbia, through its competent institutions and especially the Special Prosecutor's Office for War Crimes, will do everything to collect evidence and get access to witnesses so that Hungarian and Croatian competent bodies could carry out the necessary procedures.
Serbian Minister of Justice Zoran Stojkovic also participated in this meeting.
