Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica met today with Head of the International Monetary Fund's (IMF) Mission to Serbia Peter Doyle to discuss economic trends in Serbia, implementation of structural reforms and macroeconomic issues.

GDP increased whereas the inflation rate was reduced, Kostunica and Doyle agreed and added that efforts need to be made to additionally reduce public expenditure.
Also present in the meeting were Serbian Minister of International Economic Relations and coordinator of the Ministry of Finance Milan Parivodic and National Bank of Serbia (NBS) Governor Radovan Jelasic.
