The statement continues that the proposal resulted from an analysis of previous work on granting these loans and of a search for the cheapest solution for beneficiaries.
For citizens, the most important effect is that unlike with loans indexed in euros, they will eventually save around €14,000 for loans up to €50,000 and €28,000 for loans up to €100,000 for the period of 30 years.
This way, loan beneficiaries will have a wider choice when making a decision, which will have a positive effect on the volume of demand and offer of banking services, adds the statement.
