Serbian Minister of Energy and Mining Radomir Naumov travelled today to Banja Luka where he will hold talks with Republika Srpska Minister of Economy, Energy and Development Rajko Ubiparip on improving relations between the two countries in the energy sector.

According to a statement by the Ministry of Energy and Mining, Serbia and Republika Srpska as neighbour countries have important energy potential in the region, especially in the area of electricity.
In that context further implementation of the agreement on the Energy Community is a good basis for the development of technical and investment cooperation between the two countries and their position in south east Europe.
Minister Naumov is accompanied by General Director of the Electric Power Industry of Serbia Vladimir Djordjevic who will inform his counterparts in the Republika Srpska Electric Power Industry with details of implementation of directives of the agreement on the Energy Community, reads the statement.
