Serbian Minister of Science and Environmental Protection Aleksandar Popovic visited Paris on June 17 and 18, where he attended the Eureka ministerial conference.

Eureka is a European Union program that encourages companies and scientific institutions to cooperation in advanced technologies in order to bolster the productivity of European industries and economies and boost their competitiveness in the global market.
As part of his visit to Paris, Popovic visited the French Institute for Agronomy Research (INRA) where he met with INRA Director General Marion Guillou to discuss ways to improve the two countries’ cooperation in agronomy.
The Minister also met with French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) Director General Bernard Larrouturou to discuss cooperation between French and Serbian experts in scientific research.
