Solid cooperation between Serbian, Croatian police in fight against organised crime

Serbian Minister of Interior Dragan Jocic and his colleagues met today a delegation of the Croatian Ministry of Interior, led by Croatian Minister of Interior Ivica Kirin.
According to the statement by the Ministry of Interior, it was concluded in the bilateral talks which were held that cooperation between police of the two countries in the fight against organised crime rests upon good relations between Zagreb and Belgrade.
Similarly, experiences in the areas of corporate crime, smuggling of drugs and human trafficking were exchanged, and further forms of cooperation were established.
It was stressed that quick exchange of information and direct contact between the two ministries is important, and it was concluded that only solid cooperation between Serbian and Croatian police in the fight against organised crime can produce expected results, reads the statement.
