The Serbian Ministry of Health said today that realisation of a €4.36 million project called “Solving Priorities and Problem of Radiotherapy Service in Serbia” began as part of the National Investment Plan.
The project should create technological, technical and medicinal conditions for relocation of radioactive waste from the Institute of Radiology and Oncology, a statement from the Ministry reads adding that all five centres in Serbia will be equipped with necessary radiotherapy equipment.
An announcement for procurement was published previously and a tender will be announced these days, according to the statement.
