Bozovic visits Independent Police Complaints Commission in England, Wales

The Interior Police Control Department at the Serbian Ministry of Interior stated that Assistant Minister of Interior Vladimir Bozovic made an official visit to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) in England and Wales yesterday.
The statement reads that Bozovic talked with IPCC Deputy Chair John Wadham and briefed him on the position, role, competencies, results and problems in the work of the Interior Police Control Department.
Wadham praised the results the Department has achieved until now and advocated that strong professional cooperation among all EU police control and inspection bodies be established.
He acquainted Bozovic with IPCC top officials, its organisation and work methods and added that he hopes that the cooperation between the IPCC and the Serbian Department will be successfully continued.
Bozovic therefore proposed that the IPCC helps the Interior Police Control Department to further educate its employees, concludes the statement.
