Paying special attention to best students and young talents

Serbian Prime Minister and co-president of the Fund for young talents Vojislav Kostunica said at a Fund's session today that it is very important to pay special attention to the best students and young talents and that the state has to reward them for their hard work and excellent results.
The Fund's session was held at the Serbian government and the final list of scholarship winners on the basis of the competition "20,000 dinars a month for 1,000 best students" was established.
The list of 484 students who will be granted scholarships will be put on the web page of the Ministry of Education and Sport www.mps.sr.gov.yu on December 4, 2006.
A list of 150 pupils and students who will be given awards for winning the first, second and third places at the highest-level competitions in the country and abroad has also been established.
Also, the Fund decided to give RSD 830,000 to six young talents each for financing their education and advanced training.
