Government adopts bill on 2007 budget

The Serbian government adopted at its session today the Bill on Serbia's budget for 2007 and approved financial plans for 2007 of the republic funds for pension and disability insurance, for pension and disability insurance of agricultural workers, for pension and disability insurance of private entrepreneurs, and of the National Employment Service.
The government also approved the Bill on corporate offences and the Bill on the implementation of the Convention on prevention of development, manufacture and use of chemical weapons and their disposal.
The government adopted the Decree on amendments to the Decree on design of control excise stamps, type of data on them, and the way and procedure for their approval and issue, keeping records on the stamps approved and issued, and the tax stamping of cigarettes and alcoholic drinks.
The government made decisions on the issue of Serbia's treasury bills with December 5 and December 19, 2006 as dates of issue.
The Decision on the method of privatisation of the Public veterinary service and the Centre for Animal reproduction was passed.
The government decided to disband the Municipal Assembly of Babusnica and set up interim organs of administration in that municipality.
The government approved the Programme of protection and development of the Kopaonik National Park for the period from 2006 to 2010.
The government approved the initiatives for launching privatisation process in public companies "Information Centre" Kovin and "Donji Srem" radio station Pecinci.
The government adopted the Information on cooperation with the Republic Institute for Informatics and other organs of public administration, the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and units of local self-government in the preparation of portals for electronic administration.
The Information on the project “Serbia and EU – preparation for candidacy” was adopted, as well as the Information on the necessity of signing financial agreements between Serbia and the European Investment Bank for the project “Clinical Centre”.
The government adopted the Report on execution of the programme for distribution and use of funds of the Coordinating Centre for Kosovo-Metohija in the period July-September 2006.
