Kostunica said that the exhibition includes 59 bronze pots and is one of the most influential cultural events in Serbia in recent years. It is also a proof of the proximity of these two countries and their people, despite their geographical position, he added.
According to Kostunica, the age-old and firm friendship between Serbia and China will gain a new quality with this exhibition and will surely add to further development of their political, economic and cultural relations.
Deputy Director of the National Museum of China Lu Zehgsheng presented the Serbian Prime Minister with a vase made of Chinese porcelain.
The royal bronze exhibition is richly illustrated and accompanied by numerous texts on certain types of material, as well as charts, pictures, engravings and other relevant data. It will be open until February 27, 2007.
