Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica pointed out today in a meeting with World Bank Country Director and Regional Coordinator for Southeast Europe and Central Asia Orsalia Kalantzopoulos that the government has significantly improved the business climate in the country and added that economic stability has been achieved and that a very high level of foreign investments has been recorded.
Kostunica also stressed that all international financial institutions commended Serbia for successful implementation of reforms.
Kalantzopoulos pointed out that Serbia achieved a high level of progress in fields of doing business, financial and fiscal policy as well as in privatisation.
She presented the World Bank’s projects for Serbia for the next year and stressed that the World Bank has had very good cooperation with the Serbian government.
The meeting was also attended by Minister of Economy Predrag Bubalo, who is also coordinator of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management.
