The Ministry of Defence announced that an international course in civil-military cooperation is currently under way at the Car Lazar barracks in Kruševac, attended by participants from Serbia and members of foreign armed forces.
The practical and theoretical training is delivered by a mixed team of instructors from the Serbian Armed Forces and the armed forces of Italy, the United States and the Netherlands, as well as guest lecturers from the Ministry of the Interior’s Emergency Situations Sector, the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration and the Red Cross of Serbia.
This international professional development course provides participants with a foundation for better understanding contemporary challenges in working with civilian organisations in a complex operational environment.
It also offers officers and non-commissioned officers from different countries an opportunity to exchange experience in cooperation with non-military structures.
