Significant scope for expanding cooperation with Austria

Macut assessed that Serbia and Austria are connected by well-developed political relations, intensive economic cooperation and mutual respect, emphasising that there is significant scope for further strengthening these ties.
The Prime Minister pointed to the importance of Austria as one of Serbia’s key economic partners and one of its largest investors, noting that efforts should continue to encourage new investments and joint projects.
The meeting also addressed the current issue concerning transport operators, as well as possible ways of resolving it, bearing in mind the importance of the uninterrupted flow of traffic and the functioning of economic activity.
Macut stressed that Serbia remains firmly committed to its European path and the implementation of reforms, while expecting its progress to be assessed on the basis of concrete results, and he expressed gratitude to Austria for its support for Serbia’s European integration.
