The Border Police Directorate of the Ministry of the Interior announced that, in cooperation with the Romanian border authorities and the Customs Administration of the Ministry of Finance, the operating hours of the Nakovo-Lunga border crossing have been aligned due to the traditional 41st Days of Pumpkin festival in Kikinda.

Instead of operating from 07:00 to 19:00, the border crossing will remain open continuously from 18 September at 07:00 (08:00 Romanian time) until 20 September at 24:00 (01:00 Romanian time).
The Nakovo-Lunga border crossing is designated for international passenger traffic and the crossing of passenger vehicles, excluding bus and freight traffic.
