Serbian Minister of Justice Zoran Stojkovic talked today by phone with Director of the Simon Wiesenthal Centre Efraim Zuroff about three war crime cases committed in World War 2 by Milivoj Asner, Ivo Rojnica and Sandor Kepir.
The justice ministry says in a statement that during the 40-minute telephone conversation, the collocutors exchanged the data and information about what has been done so far and what course of action should be chosen in future. Zuroff said he is ready to offer any kind of assistance if necessary.
Stojkovic and Zuroff concluded that court procedures against the above-named persons must be completed since this is about war crimes and they do not become obsolete.
They agreed that today's phone conversation is a quite significant step for future cooperation, adds the statement.
